We are both fortunate and blessed to be able to do what we do, both as engineers of our own destiny and in collaboration with others. Dance music is fundamentally about community.

1. OUr story starts... Jun-2020
It began with four mates having a chat about parties. Whilst we would go to festivals from time to time, Canberra has always been a place where it is desirable to create your own entertainment. We decided to chip in a grand each to buy some speakers and a mixer. An old mate helped us out by selling us a few lights. We bought a cheap fold-up table and a small generator. We were ready to go...
2. RPG 1 JUn-2020
It's June 2020 and Canberra is the middle of lockdown. Gatherings of more than 20 people are not allowed. So we run a small party of 10 people to test our equipment. Adam DJ's a 13 hour set of chillgressive and progressive psy-trance.
3. RPG 2 AUG-2020
We had such fun at our first event, despite its small size, that we decided to run another one two months later. This time, we invited Pann and Stavtek to play, who also invited a couple of friends, and we had a party this time of 20 people.
4. RPG 3 NYE 2020-2021
We worked in conjunction with Aztek Productions to increase the size of our production this time, and we ran a New Years Party. This was a free unticketed party with only a small amount of promotion on the day. We had a small but happy crowd of 30 people.
5. RPG 4 FEB-2021
Adam and Brendon headed up to the mountains for this one taking a bunch of gear. We were testing and practicing retreat setups.
6. RPG 5 MAY-2021
Brendon had a house party for his birthday and RPG was there. A big bonfire was had along with some music.
7. Tribe ascension trial party Jun-2021
We provided some equipment and support to Stav for his Tribe Ascension Project. This was a beautiful small gig up in the Blue Mountains that was held run on the edge of another lockdown. Whilst the main festival was postponed until December, a small trial project was run in June with some beautiful people.
8. RPG 6 twitch events winter-2021
Lockdown was in full force in the winter of 2021, and no outdoor gatherings were allowed. RPG along with many electronic music enthusiasts headed off to Twitch and we began experimenting with the strange world of live music streaming. We ran some sort of stream on most Saturday evenings during this winter. Uncle Dunc, Pann, Stavtek, La Gioconda, Konnekted, Incongruous, Jonsey, were some of the artists that played.
9. RPG 7 Break out! Oct-2021
We ran a small afternoon gig at the Cotter upon the ending of lockdown. It was good to get some sun.
10. Support gigs Dec-2021
We provided a small amount of equipment and logistical support to the first Tribe Ascension and Illogical 4.5 New Years Eve parties.
11. Brendon and phoebe's joint birthday may-2022
In conjunction with Lovelution Entertainment, we headed up to the Blue Mountains again to cater for Brendon's and Phoebe's birthday parties. Incongruous and Stavtek played the tunes to a small crowd.
12. RPG 8 REnegade mountain Dec-2022
We headed up to a secret and amazing location in the Brindabellas to run this event. In addition to our tops we had a sub this time as well as a pergola. This event had around 30 people with Incongruous playing a 8 hour set.
13. RPG 9 Leo's birthday party dec-2022
Our friend Leo organised a birthday party and hired a massive house down the coast for two nights and three days. RPG was there with lights, sound and tunes.
14. RPG 10 Snowgums retreat May-2023
Our friend Tom organised a hike and home stay event at Snowgums Retreat in Yaouk. This was a beautiful small event with a great group of people. RPG brought the system and we heard tunes from T:Mo, Grundle, Bizz, Deejhammer and Incongruous.
15. RPG 11 Return to the diamond Planet Aug-2023
This party was the real deal. A ticketed event with larger production, promotion and participants. We teamed up with Lovelution Entertainment who brought a marquee, additional lights, decor and sound, as well as helping with graphic design and promotion. A crowd of 50 people turned up to this one. We invested more into our project both before and after this event, purchasing the rest of our PA, a industrial DJ table, and a large amount of incidental items such as tables, cables, extension leads, kitchen setup, tarps, and similar. We also began working on our promotional architecture, team building for the crew, ticketing engines and similar.
16. RPG 12 Drum & techno Jan-2024
Drum and Techno was an awesome party for us. Held in January 2024 in the High Brindabellas, it was a challenging drive for everyone to get up there, but worth the trip. Fantastic performances from our artists as well as a stunning location, awesome food and great people made this a night to remember!
17. RPG 13 GoA Beach FEB-2024
Goa Beach was a day party to support local female artists in the ACT and surrounding areas. We had a great day out near the river, with some awesome performances from our DJs and performing artists.
18. RPG 14 decompression party Apr-2024
We ran a house party in April 2024 to compensate punters for the cancellation of the Covert:Operation gig. This was a day party that ran into the night, with about 40-50 guests. We had performances from notable luminaries such as Kazuki, Lucidity, Li-Lo, ripple. Grundle, Tundra, Ra, Joebbels, Zala and Squishy B.
19. rpg stage @ Kaufmann may-2024
RPG ran a stage at the Vision Entertainment gig in May featuring Kaufmann, LIIA and Zigmon. Our stage was in the second room and provided a cool breakout space from the main boiler room setup.
20. RPG 15 full moon mayhem jun-2024
Full Moon Mayhem was a larger party held on the Winter Solstice. For this one, we teamed up with Soliq Records and Frisson Records to bring a psychedelic techno showcase spanning 12 hours. Our full system was there along with lasers and lights, with additional staging and lighting provided by Dynamic AV. We had a strong performance focus at this one with Asteria Entertainment, Spynferno and Zeek all delivering the goods!
21. dragon's Den stage @ Dragon Dreaming oct-24
We ran a stage in conjunction with Ezy Tiger at Dragon Dreaming 2024. This was a integrated space that featured both music and performance artists over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights of the festival. Whilst it was a heap of work it was also awesome and a great experience to be involved!
22. RPG stage @ spring beach party oct-24
We ran a stage in conjunction at the Spring Beach Party presented by Escape Ferocity in conjuntion with RPG and Soul Jazz. This was an awesome afternoon / evening at Black Mountain Peninsula.
23. RPG stage @ vision music festival DEC-24
We ran a stage at Vision Music Festival in December 2024. This was a huge production with a lot of top caliber artists, and was a nice afternoon in Symonston!
24. rpg 16. timeless new Years 24-25
Our new years event Timeless was our biggest project to date! 3 days and 3 nights of music, performance and lifestyle.
25. colab. decade: 3 Jan-25
Our friend and crew member Dan had his 33rd Birthday party at a nice property in Jindabyne over the Australia Day long weekend. RPG was there to assist with lights and sound.
26. colab. kinky magick temple of love Jan-25
RPG supported Ruby Sun and Seani Love with their Temple night in January 2025, providing sound and decks. DJs were Lenni and Sub:Internal.
27. colab. mystique encounters pres. temple lv1 and lv2 mar-25
RPG supported Ruby Sun again in March 2025 with sound and decks hire for two temple nights.
28. colab. wayout events pres. dj Ruby mar-25
We supported WayOut events for a club night in March 2025. They brought Maltese International Progressive House DJ Ruby to town for a one night show.

We supported Ruby Sun again for the Smack That! kinky dance party, providing decks, lasers and sound. This was an epic night, sold out, wild and awesome!

We supported WayOut Events again for another banging club night at Shadows. Featuring two of our crew and some great local support.
31. RPG 17. Forest Life Ep1: Dawn Jun-2025
Forest Life 1 was arguably our best event so far, despite the freezing winter temperatures! A two night event on the Winter Solstice. This was a sizeable project and the whole crew was really happy with how it panned out.
32. Corporate gig vantage strata Aug-25
RPG did AV Hire and DJ Services for the Vantage Strata Awards Night in August 2025. Many thanks to Jarrod Smith for the booking!
33. RPG 18 white noise @ Sponars Aug-25
23 Crew Events (and the team behind Developmental) invited us up to play one of the Winter parties at Sponars Chalet in Perisher. Several of our crew went up to perform at that one. Hopefully there will be more to come in Winter 2026!
34. colab wayout sep-25
Wayout Events invited us back to their club night at Shadows in September 2025 to provide decks, lasers, lights and support. It was a great night in the club.
35. rpg 19 primary school disco - st. Matthews sep-25
RPG were invited to provide sound and lighting for a primary school disco at St. Matthews. The event went off! Unrivaled excitement by the youngsters!
36. colab Vision pres. a Zenon records showcase Nov-25
RPG ran the second stage at the Zenon Records Showcase. Featuring bass music and DnB.
37. colab Summer of love Nov-25
RPG teamed up with T_U_L Productions to help run the Summer of Love party at KinkZone in late November. We did artist management for this event, as well as all the sound and AV. It was a big night!
38. colab tribe ascension dec-25
RPG played a small role in this event by helping to run the second stage at Tribe Ascension. This turned out to be an epic event celebrating the 5 year anniversary and was worth the lovely trip back to the Blue Mountains.

39. colab timeless connections nye jan-26

RPG took a step back over 2025-26 and instead of running Timeless we helped out as a co-contributor. We assisted with promotion, first aid and door. Some of our crew also played sets. It was great to team up with Off Tap Productions and Full Circle Collective to run this event over New Years.

40. colab A temple soiree feb-26

RPG helped Mystique, Ruby Sun, Tilly Ashlie and the team run A Temple Soiree at KinkZone in February 2026. We assisted with sound, decks and some basic lighting. A great night out and it definitely got a little wild with live sex shows and performances!
41. colab So long Summer feb-26
One of our crew, Mel, had her 50th in style in late February 2026. We spent two lovely days out in the bush playing tunes, dancing, and eating food. Many thanks to Dave Gilmer, Bryan Fitzpatrick, Nathan Stone and the Runnyford Food Collective for all your support over the weekend, and thank you to all the artists who performed.
